The AppliedeX Advantage
Choosing Polishing Solutions
Assess & Define Performance Needs
We start by evaluating the concrete’s condition, including hardness, surface defects, contaminants, and how much grinding will be required to achieve a clean, uniform base. We also determine the floor’s performance requirements, like expected traffic, durability needs, and environmental constraints—which set which polishing solutions are viable.
Mechanical Process & Chemistry
We choose the appropriate grinding sequence, diamond tooling, and densifier chemistry to ensure the surface becomes strong, refined, and ready to take a polish. This step ensures the mechanical and chemical components work together,
Polish Selection
We choose the topical or integrated polishing solution that delivers the desired sheen—matte, satin, or high‑gloss—while fitting the maintenance level the space can realistically support. Water‑based options suit low‑odor, interior environments with moderate gloss goals, while solvent‑based or high‑build mechanical finishes are chosen when maximum clarity and long‑term wear are priorities.
